At MamaKissKissCo, every handmade piece tells a story—one of love, legacy, faith, and lasting beauty.

Our small, family-run business was founded by Kyle and Iolanda as a living tribute to Iolanda’s late mother, Maria E. Silva, a woman whose life was a quiet masterclass in kindness, grace, and showing up for others. Born and raised in Portugal, Maria spoke little English, but she spoke volumes through warmth, generosity, and an open heart. She loved getting dressed up, always with a little sparkle, and believed deeply in caring for people simply because it was right.

While walking her beloved rescue dog Ace through the neighborhood, Maria greeted everyone with her signature phrase—“Kiss Kiss”—encouraging Ace to share his affection too. Before long, neighbors affectionately called her Mama Kiss Kiss, a name that perfectly captured her playful spirit and compassionate soul.

Since Maria’s passing in 2019, her legacy continues to guide everything we create. MamaKissKissCo is our way of sharing the love she gave so freely—through handcrafted jewelry, candles, and soaps, each made with intention, care, and meaning. Our pieces blend affordable quality with timeless elegance, designed for everyday moments and life’s most meaningful occasions.

Faith and curiosity sit at the center of our work. Kyle grew up fascinated by the many ways people seek meaning, while Maria lived her Christian faith with open arms and an open table. Together, those threads form the foundation of our brand. For us, faith isn’t a single label—it’s believing in what lifts you: God, purpose, love, community, nature, or hope. This brand is also a promise made in Maria’s honor. Her rescue dog Ace stayed by her side through her hardest hospital days, reminding us of the healing power of unconditional love. How do I care for my MamaKissKissCo jewelry?

How are your soaps made?

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method. This allows us to maintain quality, care, and attention to detail in every bar.

What ingredients do you use?

We use all-natural ingredients, including skin-loving oils and butters, gentle clays, and thoughtfully selected fragrances or essential oils. Each formula is designed to cleanse while remaining kind to your skin.

Will my soap look exactly like the photos?

Because each bar is handmade, no two batches are exactly alike. Variations in color, pattern, and shape are natural and part of what makes each piece unique. Your soap may look slightly different from the images shown, but the quality and ingredients remain consistent.

Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?

Our soaps are made using the traditional cold process saponification method, where oils and butters are transformed into true soap through a natural chemical reaction. Because of this process, real soap will never have a neutral pH—this is completely normal and part of what makes it effective at cleansing. While many people with sensitive skin use and enjoy real soap, every skin type is different. We always recommend reviewing the full ingredient list and doing a small patch test before regular use, especially if you have sensitivities or allergies.
